BUILDING NAVIGATE FROM THE GOUND UP
My name is Miki, and my family and I have called Bali home for the past eight years.
We relocated here to give our children a unique education at Green School and as a central location in the APAC region for my husband's work travel. I launched my wellness business, Positive Impact, which thrived until the pandemic hit – by which time we were already on our fourth rental home.
Everyone from school and the community kept asking my advice about finding homes, and before I knew it, I had a full-blown property business.
The Journey That Shaped Navigate
We moved ten times in seven years.
Ten different houses. Ten rounds of packing, unpacking, and trying to create stability. Rentals sold unexpectedly. Leases weren't honoured. Properties didn't match descriptions.
After years of constant moving, we made a decision I never imagined: we bought land and built our own home from scratch. I didn't want to build – I'd heard too many horror stories – but I couldn't find anything that met my family's needs at a price we could afford.
We're a third-culture family. My husband and I are from England but met in Australia. The kids were born there, we moved to Singapore, lived in England for a year, and now Bali. We truly understand the pain points of relocating, of finding a home and a community.
My kids decided to change schools, so we've experienced them moving in different directions – my eldest even moved to a shared villa on the other side of the island. We've lived it all.
Why Navigate Exists
I want to make the transition of relocating and finding home and a sense of place as smooth as possible, so people can have an easier journey than we did.
Now I'm blending community, real estate, sustainability, and wellness together – helping others whilst following my passions. It's all connected, and Navigate Bali is how I bring it all to life.

More Than Real Estate
I'm not just a property professional. I'm a Reiki master, certified yoga teacher, mum to two teenagers who've navigated international schools and constant change, and a passionate advocate for environmental stewardship. Every part of my journey – the moves, the school transitions, building our home, studying wellness and energy work – shapes how I serve families today.
I've always known there's a greater purpose to my life. Energy is free – it flows through us and around us – and I'm learning how to channel it all: the property work, the healing practices, the environmental commitment, the community building. Navigate Bali is part of that purpose. It's how I transform my struggles into service, my experience into guidance, and my vision into impact.
I understand what it feels like to search for stability whilst managing kids' emotions, school transitions, visa stress, and the practical challenges of daily life in a foreign country. I know the difference between simply relocating and actually feeling settled. I know what it's like to feel forced into a solution you didn't plan. I've lived it. I get it. And I'm here to help you find not just a property, but a place that truly feels like home – at a budget that works for you.
